It's a busy time of year, and in concentrating on getting the harvest done in an expedient manner, sometimes communication can take a back seat. However, it's important as a farm leader to stay in touch with all aspects of your operation and the people involved.
Lance Burditt tells KRVN's Dewey Nelson about four of the groups of people you should make intentional efforts to check in with this harvest - your employees, landlords, bankers, and financial advisors. It's these people who hold a vested interest in the long-term success of your farm, and they'll appreciate updates from your end or a chance to voice any concerns they have about the added pressures of harvest.
