How to shape your farm's culture with intent

Every business environment has its own culture, and farms are no different. That culture can be formed one of two ways--either on its own, come what may; or intentionally, with the effort of farm leadership. The problem with the former, hands-off approach is that resulting culture which forms will probably have very little resemblance to the culture that farm leadership would like to have in place on their operation. The only way to gain the culture you desire is to craft it yourself.

This week, in response to common questions brought to us by farm leaders at our recent speaking engagements, Darren Frye addresses this very topic in his Finance First blog at Farm Futures. Learn how to apply some of the key attributes you'd like your farm's culture to reflect, as well as important questions to ask yourself in order to help get the ball rolling on forming your custom farm culture.
