As a farm leader, you've undoubtedly taken some time this winter to shape the future of your operation. Such planning is important, and winter affords farmers a little bit of time to connect with their leadership teams and lay out the business' goals.

Then comes spring, and it's all too easy to shove all those plans aside and focus your energies 100% on getting the crop in the ground. However, one should remember that leadership is not just about making plans, but being consistent and intentional in tracking your operation's progress toward those goals.
