Lead by example in planning the farm's future

There is a lot of joy and hard-earned pride involved in working with your family on the farm. You'd like to keep passing that joy on to the generations that follow. If you're a member of the younger generation on the farm today, you might find yourself worrying about the future of the operation, especially if you know your elders do not have a legacy plan of any sort ready to go. It can feel awkward at best, and downright difficult at worst, to bring up the subject to the older generation. Remember though - you do have a stake in this too, after all.
